Asha Asrani Asha Asrani is an alumna of The Yoga Institute, India. She first started learning Asanas from Mother Sitadevi Yogendra in 1982 and then went on to complete her 7- Month Yoga Teacher Training Course in 1986. Having studied yoga under Dr. Jayadeva Yogendra and Smt. Hansaji Yogendra, she continues to spread yoga in its true sense. She runs her own classes ‘Yoga for Better Living’ since 2005, in Mumbai, and has been going strong ever since. Besides the Asana class, she teaches meditation and Bhagavad Gita. Being a certified Yoga counsellor, she also counsels people on interpersonal relationships. At The Yoga Institute, Asha gave talks on the Bhagavad Gita and other Yogic concepts, taught Asanas/Pranayamas and was a yoga counsellor to many. She currently manages the monthly journal of The Yoga Institute, ‘Yoga and Total Health.’
